ACLU of Wisconsin Files Lawsuit Seeking Release of Vulnerable People Amid COVID-19 

MILWAUKEE – The American Civil Liberties Union of Wisconsin filed a lawsuit in the Wisconsin Supreme Court today seeking the release of elderly and vulnerable people from state prisons in order to avoid a dangerous outbreak that would further strain the state’s health care capacity.

MILWAUKEE – The American Civil Liberties Union of Wisconsin and a coalition of voting rights advocates today filed a complaint with the Wisconsin Election Commission to demand that all jurisdictions that have canceled early in-person voting promptly restore in-person absentee voting.
