ACLU seeks contact with Wisconsin travelers affected by new attempt to impose Muslim travel ban

With the Trump administration reportedly planning a new attempt to impose its Muslim travel ban, the following statement may be attributed to Chris Ott, executive director of the ACLU of Wisconsin:

“U.S. Customs and Border Patrol has still not clarified what happened the last time the Trump administration tried to impose this discriminatory and unconstitutional ban, which is why the ACLU of Wisconsin joined a federal lawsuit seeking that information under the Freedom of Information Act. We need those answers, especially now that the Trump administration may well create even more confusion. When the new ban goes into effect, we ask travelers to Wisconsin affected by the new ban to contact the ACLU of Wisconsin at immigration@aclu-wi.org.”
