Alyssa has been with the ACLU of Wisconsin since May 26, 2020.

As Director of Communications, Program & Strategy, Alyssa is responsible for social media and website management, strategic planning and public relations for the ACLU of Wisconsin.  

She is passionate about racial justice and all forms of equality. Other areas of interest include police, prisons and criminal law reform, freedom of speech, and immigrants' rights.

As a former journalist, Alyssa has won several Wisconsin Newspaper Association awards for her work. Before coming to the ACLU of Wisconsin, Alyssa worked for the The Journal Times newspaper in Racine. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in English and Theatre Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside in Kenosha.
