The Stopping Abuse, Fraud, and Exploitation by Governing Unauthorized Access to Reproductive Data (SAFEGUARD) Act gives patients the power to take back control of their private health information from deceptive organizations collecting medical data.

This bill would expand the use of automated license plate readers that could target individuals seeking reproductive healthcare, gender affirming care and protesters engaged in activity protected by the First Amendment.

This bill does not meet bare minimum standards to protect people's privacy and would legitimize a status quo that protects big tech profits, and not people.
