August 25, 2014 @ 12:30 pm 1:15 pm

The moment Wisconsin has been waiting for is coming—and it’s coming quickly.

On August 25th, the brave plaintiff couples who successfully challenged Wisconsin’s marriage ban in June will head back to court as the Chicago-based 7th Circuit Court of Appeals hears oral arguments in their landmark case.

These courageous couples are putting their families front and center to win the freedom to marry. And they need to know, before they head into the next round of this fight, that we as a movement and a state have their backs.

Will you join us on August 25th—the day before oral arguments—at 12:30pm for a special send-off event for Wisconsin’s plaintiff couples? Click here to let us know you’ll be there to show your support.

The next step in this case is a BIG deal. The 7th Circuit is just one level below the U.S. Supreme Court, so what happens here may very well determine the future of marriage equality not just in Wisconsin—but nationwide.

And it’s the bold action of these families—coupled with your unwavering advocacy and our statewide movement—that will bring the freedom to marry to Wisconsin once and for all.

Before oral arguments begin, let’s show the plaintiff couples that people from all over the state support them in this historic quest.

Join us August 25th as we send-off the plaintiff couples who are fighting to defeat Wisconsin’s marriage ban in court. Click here to RSVP now and we’ll follow up with more details.
