Nat Godley has served on the ACLU of Wisconsin Board of Directors since 2021.

Nat Godley teaches history and humanities at a local college, and he is engaged in work there to improve the climate and make the institution more inclusive of students of color, LGBTQ students, and neurodiverse students. He is also a founding member of PAGE, a group that works for racial justice and equity in Greendale and other parts of Milwaukee County.

Nat is an experienced ACLU legal observer and has led observer teams to defend rights of assembly and expression at dozens of events. He is particularly passionate about racial justice, especially in regards to law enforcement and education; LGBTQ rights, especially for youth; the right to protest.
