Where the candidates for governor stand on civil rights and civil liberties issues
This November, Wisconsinites will cast their ballots to elect the next governor. Whoever is elected as Wisconsin’s top executive will have an enormous impact on the future of our state.
Wisconsinites need to know where the candidates stand on the issues. We’re letting voters know how the governor’s power shapes policy related to criminal legal reform, freedom of speech, trans rights, immigration, and election administration and voting rights.
We do not endorse or oppose candidates, and our top priority is to give Wisconsinites all the tools they need to make an informed decision this fall.
We’re running ads in different regions of the state — as well as leveraging our platform on social media — to educate voters about each candidate’s record on issues such as abortion rights, immigration policy, and LGBTQ rights.
