This bill would place a question on the April ballot asking voters to further limit abortion to the first 14 weeks of pregnancy.

Failed to pass both houses, will not become law this session

This bill would limit reproductive freedom by banning abortions after 14 weeks of pregnancy except in cases of “medical emergency.” Currently abortion is banned after 20 weeks of pregnancy.

If passed by the Assembly and Senate and signed by the governor, the proposal would place a question on the statewide ballot in April before the law could go into effect.
