Chippewa Valley ACLU Chapter members will be attending a local screening of the film "Out in the Silence." The film will be followed by a discussion led by advocates from groups including PFLAG, Fair Wisconsin, GSAFE, and ARCW aimed at engaging the audience in a dynamic conversation about working together to ensure fairness, equality, and inclusion for LGBT people in the Eau Claire area and rural areas across the state.

About the film: Following the story of a small American town confronting a firestorm of controversy ignited by a same-sex wedding announcement and the brutal bullying of a gay teen, this gripping documentary will challenge you to rethink your values and help close the gaps that divide our communities.
