MILWAUKEE – The Coalition for Justice, Urban Underground, ACLU of Wisconsin, NAACP Milwaukee Branch, and other community groups call on young people to share the stories of their interactions with Milwaukee Police Department.  The Department of Justice is holding a listening session specifically to hear from the young people in our community.

Speakers:  Nate Hamilton, Coalition for Justice; Sharlen Moore, Urban Underground; Chris Ahmuty, ACLU of Wisconsin.

What: Community leaders speaking about the DOJ Youth Listening Session on Friday March 4 at 5:30pm at the Wisconsin Black Historical Society, 2620 W. Center Street, Milwaukee WI 53206.

"We hope that many young people come out and share their stories, and the Department of Justice listens sincerely and considers what changes need to be made in this city," said Sharlen Moore, Executive Director of Urban Underground.  "In many neighborhoods, the police have room to improve upon the way they interact with the youth."
