We will be giving out Lifetime Achievement Award to Chris Ahmuty and will honor the decades of his service since he announced his retirement earlier this month.

The Civil Libertarian of the Year award will go to Maria Hamilton and her sons Nate and Dameion, who lost a son and a brother to a police shooting but turned their grief into positive activism by forming the Coalition for Justice.

The Youth Civil Libertarians of the Year are Jacob Newman and Ananda Deacon, leaders of Nicolet High School’s Multicultural Club.

"Taking Liberties" columnist Joel McNally will join us as emcee.

Featured speaker is john a powell, the Director of the Haas Institute for a Fair and Inclusive Society, which seeks to identify and eliminate the barriers to an inclusive, just, and sustainable society.

We will also celebrate our rising generation of community activists, honoring those who have made a difference in Wisconsin.
