William H. Lynch has served on the Board of the ACLU of Wisconsin since 1978. He is a retired attorney based in Milwaukee. His law practice focused on civil rights, and he previously worked as Executive Director and Legal Director of the ACLU of Wisconsin. He acted as the organization's treasurer from 1992 to 2011. From 1979 to 1991, he served on the National Board of Directors of the ACLU. He currently chairs the Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservancy Task Force and is a member of the boards of the Midwest Environmental Advocates, the Lakefront Development Advisory Commission in Milwaukee, Wisconsin League of Conservation Voters and Preserve Our Parks.
