City as Solution: Building the New Urban Agenda

To mark 50 years of cutting edge urban research at UWM, Urban Studies Programs is hosting a spring forum and alumni reunion on April 25-26, 2014. Join faculty, staff, students, and alumni for a welcome reception on the evening of Friday April 25th hosted at the Brewhouse Inn & Suites as well as an all day forum on Saturday, April 26th on campus at the Student Union.  Visit their website for more information or to register for this event.

The topic of the forum is "City as Solution: Building the New Urban Agenda" and will feature panel discussions, a juried student poster session, and a keynote by Dr. Bruce Western, Professor of Sociology at Harvard University.

The ACLU of Wisconsin will be facilitating one of the afternoon roundtable discussions on Saturday, April 26 from 2-3:45pm.
