Milwaukee Area Chapter
The Milwaukee Area Chapter, a chapter of the ACLU of Wisconsin, seeks
to defend the rights of free speech, free press, free assembly, free exercise
of religion, and other civil rights as guaranteed in the U.S. Constitution.
It offers educational opportunities to the public about their rights,
investigate alleged violations of rights, and try to influence governmental
authorities to protect the rights of citizens.
The Chapter has members in Bayside, Brookfield, Delafield, Dousman, Elm
Grove, Glendale, Greendale, Fox Point, Hales Corners, Hartford, Mequon,
Menomonee, Milwaukee, Mukwonago, New Berlin, Oak Creek, Oconomowoc, Pewaukee,
Port Washington, South Milwaukee, Wales, Waukesha, Wauwatosa, West Allis,
West Bend, Whitefish Bay, and other surrounding areas.
